Have a Part but No Drawing?
If you have an existing component but do not have the original manufacturing drawing or CAD model, send us the part. We can review and measure the component and create digital files that can be used for quoting and manufacturing.
This can be especially useful for replacement parts and reverse engineering, older equipment, discontinued components and parts where the original drawings are no longer available.

Reverse Engineering Existing Parts
When an original CAD file is unavailable, an existing part can often be used as the starting point for a replacement drawing or 3D model.
Anco Precision can work from customer-supplied parts to document geometry and dimensions for manufacturing. The completed CAD data can then be reviewed before machining begins.
CAD Design and CNC Machining From the Same Shop
One advantage of working with Anco Precision is that the CAD work can be created with manufacturing in mind. Instead of sending a drawing between separate designers and machine shops, you can work directly with the shop that will manufacture the part.
Once the design is ready, we can review the part for CNC milling, CNC turning, Wire EDM, screw machining or other appropriate manufacturing processes.
