ABS Advantages
- Parts can withstand temperatures of up to 80 °C without loosing strength
- ABS is the same material used in Lego bricks and is an excellent material for printing strong, temperature resistant, 3D parts.
PLA Advantages
- PLA (Polylactic acid) is biodegradable and very strong material. It is the best material for printing large parts. That is possible thanks to it’s very low thermal expansion.
PET Advantages
- PET (Polyethylene terephthalate) is a very strong and versatile material with great thermal resistance. It is the great material for printing mechanical parts. PET is great for printing large objects, because it has almost no warping.
Nylon
- Nylon excels at thin, flexible prints as well as heavy-duty parts from living hinges and surfboard fins to interlocking gear mechanisms.
HIPS Advantages
- HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) is a very strong and versatile material with great thermal resistance. It is the great material for printing mechanical parts. HIPS is great for printing large object, because it has much less warping.
FLEX Fill Advantages
- Flexfill is a simple to use flexible printing material. Prints are rubbery and really tough.
